I am getting checked out for lasic on the 29th and have to wear glasses for 2 straight weeks....

I have not worn my glasses outside my house for the past 15+ years.... I wear contacts from 6:30am until about 10:00pm every day....

everyone is making fun of me....hahaha.... cocksuckers.... just call me cracker-erkel.

A friend of mine had lasik and he didn't have to wear glasses at all prior to or after the surgery.

I wonder why you have to do it? Did they say, specifically?

Same here! Done it 6 years ago. It's great, except the myopia is kind of coming back. And my eyes often get dry.

Yeah i had to do the same thing just before my Lasik (Over 1 yr 1/2).. except i only had to wear my glasses for 3 days just before the surgery. I felt so weird cause i never went out in public with my glasses, i did the same thing you did. Contacts from Morning til just before bed. It was a LONG 3 days especially cause the Peripheral vision isn't as good as it is with the contacts.

GOOD LUCK and it's DEFINETLY worth it all!!

I really want to do it, but yes I am scared. Knowing my luck - I will still end up having to wear glasses after a couple of years. I say glasses because I had heard that you would no longer be able to wear contacts should your vision start to regress again.
