I've been wearing glasses since I was 12, now at 23, I have been pondering about Lasik. I've tried contact lenses but I can't stand the maintenance of them, solutions and what not, besides, I have really dry eyes so I have to use the lubricant drops a lot.

I am still a little skiddish about having surgery on my EYES, I mean, if they mess up, they can't say, "Oops, umm, sorry about that..." They are the only two I have!

 

These are the stories I want to here..... (not about me being a pussy... I already know that...).....

My dad is like "DON'T DO THAT..YOU'LL BE BLIND"......... I have heard nothing but great stories about lasic..... I am 37 and they say the older you get the less chance you have to do it.... so.... ZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPP..... Hopefully.

almost 16 years wearing glasses, 5 minutes later I walk out of the room and I see perfectly. haven't had an issue since, still perfect 20/20 no more dryness then before.

Had the halos for about 6-7 months, but the reality was the glare off my glasses was way worse then what I had.. and it cleared up as well.

2 weeks of wearing glasses will be LOOONNNGGGG forgotten my man.

 

you should know in about 3-5 years, you will be wearing glasses again - reading glasses.

Wear glasses every day and people tell me all the time that they look good. Tried contacts and they were a pain in the ass. Glasses don't bother me and I've gotten used to them as well.
