Haha, he IS a personal eye care provider.
I didn't say he wasn't. In fact, he is probably a great guy and a great doctor. What your quoting is from a straight-forward, standard medical disclaimer.
+1 for Right. But I'd rather not choose between the flavors.

+1 for Lasik. the going rate in Socal is $399 per eye, more for astigmatism. I paid about $700 per eye 3-4 years ago, and I have astigmatism.
I highly recommend it also, there's definitely side affects. Dry eyes, starburts and halos around lights at night. They go down over time, but you can definitely live with it. Way better than wearing glasses/contacts. You can see time in the alarm clock, see a shark approaching when you're boadyboarding...
good luck!

Scott LASIK rocks, have them undercorrect one eye to use that as your reading eye when you geezer up. No reading glasses later. Take eye vitamins before they cut you up to improve corneal health as well as flax seed oil capsules helps lube your eyes .
If you had dry eyes before getting zapped your sure as shlt going to have it after. They could have cut the flap horizontal to try and minimize the dryness. Or not zap you in the first place other ways to fix your eyes.
Since I live on the sand at the beach I told the doc if he fvcked up my bikini watching tools I would kick his a$$(kinda joking).
Good idea on you get what you pay for regarding price.

What a strange group of people we have here - and I have a fairly easy job with nothing better to do, but cut and paste people's asses out of pictures.....
