Default anyone into VR?

whats the best bang for your buck at the moment in your opinion? done a little research and very interested.

also, should I wait to pull the trigger? I heard Apple has been waiting patiently on the sideline and has a Augmented Reality headset that they will release.. (former PC user turned Apple fan here)..

Maybe just the wrong forum, lol!

I haven't tried myself but my friend swears by the Oculus Rift. He says it's awesome! Not sure about bang for your buck though.

yeah I have only tried the VR system from Samsung .. the one that works with the phone .. I thought it was pretty cool and can only imagine the other manufacturers (fb, htc) could be so much more immersive..

im curious as to what the next stage in VR will be with respect to the human senses.. smell? touch?

that would be awesome !! I mean just think of the implications .. for such things as medicine .. and try not to think dirty in this situation, which I'm trying very hard not to..

I saw one article online that had a contraption that blows out a fragrance at the nose.

I have yet to try the rift..

The only problem holding me back from buying a rift or vive is the additional hardware u have to buy (Pc laptop or desktop). Guess I'm still waiting for the Apple version .

Speaking of VR , there have been some movies with VR in it .. but in my opinion I think the best one I've seen so far has got to be Lawnmower Man.
And it's really significant if you've seen the movie (given how long ago it came out).

Maybe be I should just go cheap and pick up the simple google vr and perhaps there are hacks/mods u can make to it.

We don't care whether you have an S2000 or not, so long as you abide by the forum rules.

. . . what you were asking about is quite Off-Topic, so it's in the right spot.
