Any good tips for fighting speeding tickets in Nevada? I plan to "attempt" to fight it via the mail.

I was written up for 85 in a 70 near Wells, NV.

$125 fine.

I hope to try to get it lowered or dropped.

My record is clean so one point won't really hurt, but will NV tickets show up on my CA record?

Yes, the ticket will show on your record. You may be able to take traffic school to get rid of it.

I was pulled over on I-80 near Wells a couple years ago for going 95 in a 75 zone. The kind Trooper wrote me up for 80 in a 75- a $50 ticket, no points.

 

but inorder to go to traffic school, dont you have to go to court in Nevada first?

 

This cop was a dick. I tried to convince him I was only going 80.
