I've used an electric razor since i was 16, 24 now. I've always had trouble with manual razors. If i use a manual razor i have to shave with the grain or else my skin gets really irratated. Draw back of going with the grain is that it looks like i have a 5 O'clock shadow right after i shave. My first electric was the Braun 5503 flex integral. That thing lasted me for a long time, almost seven years. Shaved great and very close. Much closer than i could get with a norelco or a manual blade. Last year i got the new Braun Syncro 7680, the one that the guys above are talking about that cleans itself. It gives by far the best shave i have ever gotten. The self cleaning makes a huge difference. It feels like a new razor after every clean and charge. I'd say to try this one. It cost a little more than the others but in the long run it will be cheaper, as they last a long time. Try it for 30 days. If you don't like it return it.
