For keyboard - The Logitech Dinovo Edge takes and wins all. Not just for construction, but the precision and engineering is spot on. Along with bluetooth 2.0 EFR, it also comes with a touch sensitive track surface typically found on laptops.

For mouse - I'm with Saki GT all the way. This is still one of the best I've ever used and yes it's optical with a ball. Mouse vs. Trackballs. Unfortunately trackballs wins hands down. No more silly moving mouse movements off surface, trying to get it back to the centre of your desk, blah blah.

Since this thread has gone off.. Anyone use an IBM notebook? I wish all keyboards/notebooks had their trackpoint nipple. It's the best thing for internet browsing. No need to move your hand off the keyboard, movement of just your index finger from the J to in between G-H.
