He still seems to update his website from time to time....see here: Home of Warrior

You know, looking back, I kinda miss the "old" days of wrestling...Does anybody remember the Saturday morning cartoon: Rock 'n' Wrestling (HA!)...anyways, here's some of the names I remember from back in the day:

Andre the Giant (R.I.P.)
The Junkyard Dog (R.I.P.)
Bret "The Hitman" Hart
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake
Mr Perfect (Curt Hennig...R.I.P)
Paul "Mr Wonderful" Orndorff
Mr Fuji
George "The Animal" Steele (R.I.P.)
The Iron Sheik
Nikolai Volkoff
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
Jake "The Snake" Roberts
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (and the Heenan family)
Jimmy "The Supafly" Snuka
"Ravishing" Rick Rude (R.I.P.)

Now THOSE were wrestlers/entertainers...

And who could forget:
Miss Elizabeth (R.I.P. )

If any of you old-schoolers have the time, I would suggest finding a copy of Wrestlemania 17. One of the matches was a "Gimmick Battle Royale", where they brought in some of the old-schoolers to battle one another. And to add to the nostalgia, they brought in "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan to do the commentary for that match.

The contestants were: Bushwhackers, Duke the Dumpster, Iron Sheik, Earthquake, The Goon, Doink the Clown, Kamala, Repo Man, Jim Cornette, Nikolai Volkoff, Michael Hayes, One Man Gang, Gobbledygooker, Tugboat, Hillbilly Jim, Brother Love and Sgt. Slaughter.

IMO, the funniest part of this match was when The Brain and Mean Gene were introducing the contestants as they walked towards the ring. The Brain got around to introducing The Iron Sheik, and said (obviously poking fun at Sheik's old age), "By the time the Iron Sheik gets to the ring it'll be WrestleMania 38!"

I used to watch it a lot years ago, then got into again when they did the whole WCW v. WWF thing a couple years back with Stone Cold on WCW's side. Oh man that was great. Since then, there's just too many wrestlers with real sounding names. John Cena?? I mean couldn't he call himself B-RaD G or something?? hehe

Oh yea saw Tajiri a few times at the Torrance Mitsuwa market. He's short, but really stocky wide. Nice guy though, he gave me an autograph.

man I left this guy out to bad hes changed his carerr to movies but he was bad ass. He didnt have enough character freedom and said it. Bill Goldberg the Legend Killer. That guy was freaking huge and ripped. Total domination.

BTW the first intercontinental champ, Patterson is resgining from WWE because of disagreements with Mcmahon after Taboo Tuesday. The disagreement was simple, why is WWE still promoting its Triple H and HBK etc all theold guys same old same old when it should be looking at new characters to develop them more like Batista or whoever and make them bigger story lines also.
