Thumbs up Anyone Use a Moto Q?

alltel is releasing the Q soon, and ive been excited about this for a while.

first of all, i read on their site accessing my aol.com is easy, but what about instant messenger.. anyone have AIM on their Q?

also i was going to try and pull shows off my DVR to put on the miniSD for travel..

my DVR has a female USB slot.. so im guessing i could plug in, anyone figured out this succesfully to take stuff off your DVR harddrive.. i find it impossible to find a male to male USB cord that way i could connect laptop and access the stuff on the DVR... hopefully someone on here is saavy enough to know how and do this.

other than shows and aol/aim ill just be surfing the web which of course is easy to do on there..

nj2tn just got one and ended up selling it a few weeks later. He seemed unhappy with the Q and moved into the Samsung BlackJack and is much more happy with it.

I'd PM him if you want more specifics. I really wanted a Q when they first came out last summer but after reading reviews I decided to wait for something that will perform a little better. I'd do a google search and find all the reviews on each phone that you can.

I had a Q. it sucks. battery life is like 6 hours just on standby.

There are better alternatives out here.
