Thumbs up Anyone uses or has any experience with FTA

Is anyone using, has any experience with or heard about FTA (free-to-air) satellite receivers or any such thing used to get free (illegal) satellite. If yes, are they any good? Do you really get all the dishnetwork or DirecTv channels including pay/view.

Which is the best product out there to buy? and where to buy the online file support?

I just can't afford to pay that much for my cable any more, and don't want to lose any channels. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Just a quick sidenote, isn't it horrendous cable TV has become so outrageously expensive people actually can't afford the service?! I think that's gonna be the next Enron or whatever scandal in this country. High-speed communications are getting too deeply entwined with the Government.

Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to hack the current Directv signal. I'd say just google it to find the people. If you're going to those lengths, it may be easier for you to steal the cable tv. Whatever you do, be sure to stick it to the man.

Thanks for the help guys (even though it did'nt help)

I already got my hands on a box, and ordered another one through ebay. It works great and I'm getting all the dishnetwork channels HBOs, PPV soprts/movies, P.O.R.N... everything. It works just like a test card for directv. Only you don't have to program it that often and if you do you can do it yourself in a couple of minutes.

Do a research, if you're interested. I'll be glad to help with anything.
