I read a line that people in Boston are going to have a hard time with this one. They've been saying iPad for three years now.

 

that is the stupidest name. i'll admit, i like Apple's products, but i personally don't see a need to purchase this.

 

I own only apple products as far as computers/phones but I am very disappointed in the iPad.

* No Camera?
* No Multi-tasking?

Those are the two things I was looking forward to. Ill wait til gen 2 and see if they add the features i wanted.

 

ugh. I dont see the point for ANYONE who has an iphone. I was hoping for a little more gadgetry, a little more awesome...but instead we got a "super-sized" iphone

 

I can't wait for the 13" model! They can call it the Max iPad.

1/2 the cost? 500 bucks? I dont remember the iphone being 1K. IIRC, you CAN buy the iphone outright...it is pricier though. I remember reading its cheaper to sign up for a plan, then cancel it. iirc, the iphone base model costs 600 bucks outright, and you get the 3G...30$ cheaper than the equivalent iPad (ipad with 3g, base model = 630)

The plan for the iPad (lol) costs just as much as the iphone for 3G service, 30$ a month...which is gonna suck for the iphone users as its gonna just bog down the ATT network...fml!
