Archos Gmini 120 MP3 player (sob story)
Don't repeat my mistake! This player is a dud at least the one that I got. the real problem that I see is that all the additional product functionality must be purchased as a added "plug-in" which only works on THAT device. So if the unit fails, like in my case, the purchased software plugin won't work in a new unit.
Getting a refund from Archos looks like it's going to be a pain in the butt.

BTW, the reason I bought this was for the "Photo Wallet" feature. It's a portable 20GB drive with a CF card reader. So as you fill up your digital camera CF card, you just download the images onto the harddrive, reformat the card and keep shooting. In theory it sounds great! Hope to see one that actually works though, I was looking forward to having a combined product: Phototank/MP3 player.

Yeah, I had a similar problem with an Archos Studio 10. It claimed to be plug and play, but wasn't. I returned it a while ago and now I going to purchase a Sony Mini-Disc Player in a few hours. WAHOO!
