for everyong who is giving the OP such a hard time, PLEASE dont get your panties in a bunch. he/she did raise real concerns. for being an Asian American male, I have seen these stereotypes first hand. I am sure regardless of what race/ethnicity you are, you have experienced some kind of negative stereotype.
But back to the topic at hand, this is a very interesting topic and does have its merit. as far as i know, the stereotypes of asian males are quite disturbing pathetic in mainstream America. And there are historical implications behind them that will take forever to get into. Feel free to read a book called "Racial Castration" (forgot author) and "Yellow" (Frank Wu) to get more insight of how early laws set forth by Congress to deny Chinese immigrants the same rights under the law (I believe it was the Chinese Immigration Act of 1847). Thuse perhaps leading up to portrayals that we are subjected to upon till this day.
The truth of the matter is that we are not a group that needs to collectively mobilize and gather at the front doorsteps of Washington D.C. to make it known. Nor do we need an Asian "Jesse Jackson" to lead us into equal rights, but what the OP is pointing out is that there are many examples of VERY emasculating stereotypes and this is what the general and ignorant public learn in order to make their opinions based on a large various group of people.
And in response to certain images, its gonna continue to be pervasive as long as we allow them to be. ...You just have to be a jerk and they wont even bother to know what race you are, they are just waiting to jump in the sack.

What the hell is your point. I am Asian, 6'2'' (180 lbs), nice teeth, no accent (also scored 800 on SAT verbal), I have never eaten a dog/cat, never used opium, am well-endowed
have had experience with both tight and not-so-tight Asian women.
Every race has individuals that have these traits, and individuals that don't. But portraying a certain race as always having them is just pathetic.
What race are you exactly?
"Asians have bad accents" if english is your second language, (no matter your race) you're going to carry an accent. i'm Asian and can speak and WRITE in English well =) my last name is german-sounding and i'm often mistaken for white when on the phone.
"Asian men have bad teeth" speechless
"Asians eat dogs/cats" we eat frogs and snakes also... =)
"Asians are addicted to opium" i never tried opium. i'll put that on my to do list.
"Asians are spys for their own countries" if america drafted me... i'd glady die for this country.
"Asian men are short" (that yao ming (NBA) guy is pretty tall)
""Asian men have small penises"
"Asian women have tight pussies"
well, i'm about 5'10" (i am short, seriously) and my friends are all over 6' tall and asian. but anyway, the day somebody can answer my question:
since, white chicks usually have huge boobies, black chicks usually have fat-asses, and asian girls are usually flat-chested... but, why are there flat-chested white girls, booty-less black girls, and busty asian girls?
it's impossible to relate biology to race instead of inherited genetics. correct me if i am wrong though. i'm an operations major. and off topic... i had a black girlfriend and i know a number of Asian dudes with black girlfriends. maybe they're tired of the "big black penises" and want out little asian ones? makes sense...?
NOTE: there is no such thing as a "loose or tight" vagina. babys come out of there and it still retains itself. in addition, virgin asian vagina feel like non-virgin black vagina. don't be ignorant...

There's seriously almost no way for the ignorant to understand another culture without being raised in it. Studying it from an outside perspective explains almost nothing. Why do some Asians eat dogs? I dunno. I was raised in America. My mom ate dogs as a child in Taiwan. That kind of ends the discussion on educating the oblivious.
OMG... this thread is still alive and not locked??? time to post...
The issue of race is a serious one, but for some reason, asians tend to not worry about it, or the media doesn't seem to care about it all that much.
Kramer/M.Richards does a standup stint and insults blacks and the entire media is in an uproar.
Rosie goes and insults the asian community by making fun of the way they talk, and you hardly hear a beep out of it.
The passiveness of asians causes the media to believe that it is ok for people to insult asians cause they won't do anything about it. unless the community stands up and take some action, it is going to continue.
you can take each race and can be sure to find some characteristics that you dislike, and some you like.
to touch on the OP's statement about the asian male community, what are you actually comparing the asian male to? equal to what?
asian males as a lover = asians have the highest population anywhere.. they must be doing something right.
asian males as cooks? = tons of restaurants can't be bad
asian males as teachers = they are usually the smart ones right?
asian males as husbands = some asian males might still be sexist, but since they are the smarter race, they should make more right?
asian males as drivers = they like to drift.. enough said....
asian males as soldiers = one word.. kamikaze
asian males as bball players = ok fine.. besides yao ming, they are pretty short...
asian males as ok.. ran out....

Holy shite! Some things I didn't know about Yul. Athletic and very smart!
Just by looking at him, I thought he was a dumb ass.
There's a successful Asian, regardless of racial prejudice.
