I'm considering getting B&W Nautili at some point. But not before I move into a bigger place. Haven't really decided what kind of setup yet.
B&W's Nautilus has such near perfect sound reproduction it may never be surpassed.
WOW!! SilverStoned04, that looks like a great setup! I've had a pair of Studio 100 v2s for about two years now and I think they are two of the most fun speakers I've ever listened to. I found that they took a long time to break in. Over the course of several months, I continually stepped up the power to get those 8" inch drivers worked in. They eventually needed a serious workout to fully break in. I listen primarily to a lot of garage and hard rock, and I think the Paradigms are pretty forgiving to recordings that are "less than perfect". Cool choice on equipment.
Thanks for the comments on the apartment. I'm going to be living in a little apartment for a while (about 15 months) while they renovate my new loft. Approximately 6000 square feet. I can't wait.
Plus, I got to personally speak with the former president of Sonic Frontiers, Chris Johnson. His new company, partsconexion is going to be doing a full refit of my Power 3's. In fact, the refit is going to be done by the man who designed the amplifiers!! I'm ecstatic. I just have to drive them personally to Toronto, CA, which should be a fun trip in and of itself.

Nice, the Paradigms are ideal for tubes though as they are hard to drive.
I dont understand how you can think that? The Paradigms are SUPER effecient (91dB @1w/1m)

The only problem is the price. $50k US!
I'm personally not a fan of the B&W Nautilus. 4 of the main reasons?
They're the ugliest speakers ever to have been conceived by the hand of man.
They're 50 THOUSAND dollars a pair (my brain just goes: fuuuuck that.)
I dont like the way they color the music. (ie: it doesnt sound good to MY ears to justify the price)
That "infinite baffle" is complete and utter bullshit, and I can prove it with a wave tank.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the listener. As a designer, I think there is beauty in a form that is derived from scientific understanding. However, having said that, there's NO WAY I'd put those in my house!
I've got Pinnacle Aerogels that suite my listening needs superbly.
