Exactly! I use Sennheisers nothing comes close.
Are you serious? What kind of a statement is this shit? Nothing else comes close? That's a fanboi statement and nothing else.

I have the Senn HD595, and the Studio Beats sound just as good, if not better. Besides, I've had plenty of other brands that sounded better than my Senns.

FOH and house main sound, you typically want something that blocks sound. I've seen all manner of cans, but the Sony MDRs and AKGs are prevalent.

However, since in-ear monitoring is getting that cheap, Shure puts out decent in-ears for the right price.

What are the best in-ear buds (or whatever the correct terminology may be) available on market? I have the Ultimate Ears Triplefi and they sound freakingly awesome. Are there others that even sound better, regardless of price?

Grados are so damn uncomfortable. I really like Beyerdynamic headphones for their comfort.

Or, the Ultimate monitors are way up there. . .
Damn, those are pretty pricey!

OP, or you can get a pair of Senn HD595 for like $130 or lower; MSRP: $300+. Don't listen to people about the HD555; they claim those are pretty much the same after some modifications, but they're not.

Anyone use the Shure headphones? I know for a fact that they are a big name in the microphone industry, so I assume that their headphones would be as good as their microphones...

I'm considering the SRH440's mostly

Frankly, styling is a big factor when it comes to headphones for me. I would wear them at work, **where other people see me**... haha

The shures are around $100... not too bad if you ask me.

I'm also leaning towards the headphones with more emphasis on bass, which is why I was interested in the beats at first.
