Default The BEST Prime Rib You've Ever Had?

Where did you have the best prime rib of your life? I'm talking about succulent, juicy medium rare prime rib, with super fresh & spicy horse radish. The meat should almost melt in your mouth as you close your lips over your fork...

Funny enough, the best prime rib I've ever had wasn't at Lawry's (not even with Michael Chang and his new gf sitting next to us), it was at The Magic Castle.

I can't eat beef anymore but I'd like to hear where you had your best prime ribs ever.

this old restaurant i worked from back in college. it was called north star in reisterstown, md. the best! it took a while to cook but man was it the bomb. the au jus was the best! i usually like au jus more with prime rib than horseradish. i use horseradish on regular roast beef.

another good rib was at deans restaurant in the small town i live

I just had a great rock-salted prime rib at Kincaid's in St. Paul. I found out that it was a local specialty and I loved it

I went to Morton's (I wind up going either there, or Ruth's Chris about 1-2x a year), and while I was looking forward to a DelMonaco, they said they had the end piece available.

^ i agree. learned to make it myself and for the price of one restaurant plate, you can feed your family/friends and have a party. it's much easier than you think and i now make it for holidays as it's way better than turkey imo. lawrys, etc are ok, but more show than go.

you go to the store, look for a piece rib in with good marbling. about 3/4 lb per person u wanna feed. take home, wash it, place internal thermo in, season with whatever salt u like, place the fat block on top so the juices melt down, 425 for the first 30 mins, 350 after until the thermo reads 150. make some au jus. slice. DONE.

i think ill make some today.

Best prime rib I've had was a place in Philly called The Prime Rib. I think its on 17th and Walnut or Chestnut. It was about 30 ounces and was the best meat I ever had! And it was a end cut too!!!!!
