The BEST Prime Rib You've Ever Had?
Real Kobe is hard to come by. I had a great Kobe steak at the 5-star restaurant at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. Wonderful.
Wagyu is more common as are some other variants. The 'douchie' debate
above is sort of a draw as the marbling is a big part of what different types of steak (i.e., cow) have to offer.
You guys got me, though. I made a 4lb rib roast last night. GOt a nice bone-in piece from the small end of the loin. Put a nice garlic/salt/horseradish paste on it and cooked 'er up nice and rare.
Fabulous meal complimented by a nice Australian Shiraz. Prime Rib is a nice indulgence, but I also prefer meat with less fat on it, so I usually order a Strip or a Filet when I'm at a good restaurant.
In my experience here in Boca, Ruth's Chris is shite. NY Prime is the place to go for a good steak.
