What happens if you (or a "friend") buys a Blackberry Storm and ends up selling it?

Do you end up getting charged the full retail price if you don't activate it? There's a obscure little sentence printed on the shipping literature that came with the phone...

Anyone out there familiar with the details that can shed some light?

 

Hmm if you already had a curve and didn't want the storm, id sell it and just hold onto my curve for longer

 

you pay a discounted price because you signed up for a contract. once you sign a new contract, they could care less what you do with the phone.
