I got an email from one of my friends that currently works for BW. I told him about this discussion and this is what he said:

If you want to be a security operator, marksman, or a trainer then SF, Seal, Ranger, LRS, Recon, or other similar "real" experience would be required. Any combat arms experience, more importantly "real" combat/theatre experience, would probably get you in the door.

He said they do hire IT, Logistical and other positions with some being deployed and others staying state-side. Stating again that military experience is preferred - but they do have a number of ex-police officers working for them and do hire from other areas when they can not find the skill set the need from preferred sources.

I pointed him to this thread - and he sent a quick reply LOL'ing the "greasing the gate comment" stating that do have a need for such people in groundskeeping.

He sent me this link that clearly identifies what the qualifications are for the contract positions:

being from both my parents are retired from the air force so i do get to pick up quite a bit from them
