Well, he finally passed away. He was a great person. Did so much good for America.
He was born in England and grew up here in Cleveland. We even have a bridge named the Hope Memorial bridge here. He had a brother that lived here and I went to school with His son, who was named Bob, after his famous uncle.
He will be sorely missed. May God bless him. Farewell

I'm a retired Navy veteran and when stationed in Pensacola, Fla I had the chance to meet Bob Hope during the 75th anniversary of Naval Aviation show he did for NBC. What a gentleman and true American hero. God bless him for all that he did for our fighting men and women over the years. I mean, the guy went to the Persian Gulf in his 90's! No other man that I know of was more beloved by the military.
What a life he led.

 

Sad to hear he has gone. God Bless Bob Hope.
