Bodybuilders Unite!
Any boby buliders here? casual, professional? amature?
I will start.
I starting lifting as a exercise and fun back when I was 19, and been on and off for 11 years.
Now that I'm 30 I'm not recovering as fast as before so I've been limiting my workout to 1 hour a day, and 4 days a week.
I recently starting taking it seriously with scheduled workout and nutrition. www.fitday.com is a great site. free to use and track your nutrition intake.
I also picked up a book by Frederic Delavier, Strength Training Anatomy, 2nd ed.
Great book with ton of good information.

Casual.
Started seriously about 10 months ago. Since then I've gained about 30lbs of body weight (I was severely underweight before) and still slowely going up.
I don't have great genetics so I'll never compete; I just do this for general health and hopefully in a year or 2, be proud of how I look

Powerlifted in college then tore a disk. Now I just workout to stay in OK shape. No heavy squats for me anymore. Was 114 in high school (cross country and track whore). Competed at 165 in college (was up to 178 before cutting). Now I'm a solid 170 lbs.

i was pretty serious about it, usually ran 1 mile on a treadmill with varying incline at 7-9mph before 1.5 hour workouts, 5 days a week. that was 1st year of college. i'm 5'8" - 5'9", i started at about 125-130lbs and at my peak i was pretty lean and 155lbs. 2nd year of college i was on and off, and now that med school has started i have absolutely no time.
