Bottled water
Aquafina and Desani are just regular water that has been put through reverse osmosis and then have some minerals added. Some of the other spring waters are from true springs and may have a mineral make up that is copied by Desani or Aquafina. In the USA it's fairly unnecessary to buy bottled water, but in foreign countires, it's almost necessary. That being said, in those countries some smart people just get bottled water empties and fill them with regular crap and then recap them.
There is a study that shows that the container that the water is stored in makes a difference on the taste of the water too.
My uncle tested the "spring water" sold at the Atlanta olympics at his lab and found that it was just bottled tap water.

I can tell a HUGE difference between city water and the distilled water we buy (or most bottled water, though not all).
I was brought up on chlorine and fluride..... if I take a bath, I swear it smells like pool...... could be the shit my wife uses to clean the tub though?
I thought I read somewhere that Desani at least is the recycled water used to clean out the soda tanks at the Pepsi factories - after it runs out and down the drain, its purified and resold so Pepsi isn't buying city water and just letting it go down the drain.
I'll buy bottled water when I'm mobile because you get a bottle you can seal up and travel with, but I'll refill it with regular water until I'm done with the bottle. I'm paying for the bottle, not the water.
