What else can you say? A Porsche is still a Porsche ... Beautifully engineered cars. Ultimately, it's still more expensive and you have to expect it to perform slightly or even better than our stooks. Then again, I'm not interested in owning a Boxster S or base model any day. I love my Honda.

Just think for $20,000 more you could have the Boxter S.. Not worth it IMO.. Your paying for the Name

For the same price, I'd still get the stook.
I definitely wouldn't mind a boxster S in my garage though.
It's one of very few porsche styling I like.

With all due respect to the ladies,

I live in an affluent area and I see at least 1/2 dozen Boxsters during a typical 30 minute drive.

I've noticed that 80% of the Boxster drivers are ladies. Not that there's anything wrong with that -- they're often quite attractive -- but I think this is an indication of the Boxster's target market.

The Honda S2000 is a hard core sports car -- not a GT sports car!

agreed, an honest post indeed!

I raced a Boxster S once, and it was head to head the entire way, well, then again, I was in his quarter panel the entire time because where we started was at a stop light, two lanes, turning left, going up a hill, around to the right then the left and then the right - so, a bit more than just a straight line drag race, but I got stuck in his quarter panel after sliding the back end out when we took off since I was in the outer lane. very cool guy and its a great car, but it just aint for me.
