That's a rumor spread by Pita. I had the privilege once at a Geneva Chefs banquet to eat one of Bubbas older relatives. The claw was bigger than my hand and just as wide.

It was delicious. Probably one of the sweetest lobsters I've ever eaten. When we dive for lobster here, we cook them barabarian style. You just pull up on the beach build a fire and when it goes to coals throw them on live. They squirm of a second or two but in a just a couple minutes,,,,MMMMMM good.

I love lobster

^ i think they're cutting it open to do an autopsy. after the autopsy, i'd doubt the lobster would be fresh enough to be any good to eat...

I am no tree hugger, but I could never pitch a live creature into a fire like that and watch it die.........

scot: really?? that's how you cook lobsters and crabs, as well as all the other shelled seafood such as clams, etc. i know what you mean by not being able to kill/cook a live creature like that, but for some reason, i don't feel anything for crabs, lobsters, shellfish, etc. maybe it's just hard to relate to them since we do not have shells like them. i mean, when i go fishing, after i catch a fish, i always have my brother gut that thing. i just can't do it myself...

Ya, I could never hunt or gut a deer.........maybe if i was going to die or my family was going to die, but just for sport... yuck.

I eat meat, so it is not like i am some hippie.... just not my thing to kill live stuff.

I remove spiders from my house instead of killing them..?? I do like women though, so I am not a total fag.
