Buffer Underruns While Burning CDs - Help!!!!!!!!
I had been using a 4/2/24 from phillips...
for quite some time, hell even the wife has a 8/4/32...
Then the kids 'puter needed another CD-ROM (third cheap 52x-56x in a year) so I gave the slower spinning burner from mine and splurged on the Plexy...OH MY...THATS FAST...hehe...and subchannel reads and writes to boot...gotta luv it...

I have a plextor, boy does it do wonders, no underruns due to burnproof. Although it was purchased 1 1/2 years ago (12x/32x/40) it was the top then, now i'm seeing 24x out,
. A great purchase would be the Lite-On it's exactly like the plextor without the official name, but benchmarks on them are equilly close to the plextor. The big difference is cost. THe lite-on being only half the price if not less then the Plextor. I plan on getting the 40x Lite-On when it comes out end of february.
