my mailbox has been taunting this 83 year old lady for about 5 years now..... she finally had enough..... she actually doesn't know what the hell happened, but she had to jump a 8" curb to hit the mailbox, but then she ended up about 8 feet into my yard (good thing no kids were around)......you can see her tire tracks on my mailbox! Old people in buicks.

Damn mailbox's always get in the way

 

The scarey part is that she does't even know what happened.

 

Why doesn't that surprise me? And I bet the state has no problem w/ her keeping her license.

 

well..i gotta say, you hace a nicely trimed lawn...

 

Apparently the doctors are making her retake her drivers license... she *forgot* how to get to the doctors office.... i feel bad for her, but I really don't know her......

Now she fears running over my new mailbox, so she damn near drives over her own curb when she backs out, over compensating (by a mile)..... Hopefully for everyone's safety they do take her license.

to be a slight jerk I left the mailbox down for almost a full week.... as people would walk past they would all look down and point and then look up, then look at her house, then look down, then point....it would take each group about 5 minutes to get passed it.......

 

I was going to suggest you leave the mailbox down a while as a friendly reminder for her of what she did.
