What about if I told you they were going to be preaching against you and your lifestyle, and that you would possibly be singled out as an example that needed to get their life "cleaned up"?

Man, this did happen to me. That's a whole other discussion.

LOL. Really? That's horrible!

Want to hear something ironic? I have too, mainly because they thought I was doing something I wasn't. It is funny, looking back on it. It was horrible at the time, though. I literally had a guy yelling in my face, spittle going everywhere, while he shouted to the congregation about a certain topic/sin/idea.

I was visiting the church and one family had it out for me, for some reason. It went downhill from there...

Anyways, take your experience, multiply it by 10, and that's about what I'd be like in a strip club in terms of embarrasment and offense.

I'm more interested in serious answers from gotrice and AGBLLT, since Raj had no issue with my stance.

Having a member of the local clergy conduct himself in such a condemning manner is wrong, but most all of us have experienced it. I much pefer the more daunting challege of defending liquor licensed establishments from the outrageous attacks by local politicians who use their political office to legislate their personal convictions.

Gay club I've been to, no biggie. Gay strip club, really depends on how much money was at stake. I mean lets say there were millions of dollars at stake, then I'd go, but I'd draw the line at walking in. I mean I see naked people every day at work, so it's no big deal. I"d have to draw the line at lap dances and the like though.

it depends on the company and the bigger well known companies doesn't tolerate fearing legal issues.

now, if were talking about going to a bar with dancers that's still done, but escort or services are no longer done. it would be comparable to MLB teams and alcholic beverages in the club house after the game. teams are no longer allowing it. now if you want to call a service on your dime the company has no legal ramifications if you do.

Maybe not on a regular basis, but being a businessman is about making compromises. I think you might have the wrong impression about who I am because of the strip club conversation. I have a family and spend most of my time working and my free time with my family. If I was invited to a church function, I most certainly would go.....Part of life (and espesically business) is doing sh1t you don't want to do. For example, If I had a huge potential client that invited me to a Scientology "thing", I would go to show this guy that I was serious about doing business with him. Granted, I probably wouldn't go again because I think Scientology is for nuts, but a one time thing isn't that big of a deal. I think a show of good will is what most business types look for..
