Stages... not ages. Many people's idea of fun changes... I'm around your age as well... and I'd say I'm somewhere between you two... I no longer enjoy strip clubs or getting drunk...(but I enjoy having a drink or two with friends at a trendy bar)... I also don't have the responsibilities Jon has with a wife and child - but I look forward to them. I can imagine a point in time where absolutely nothing could compare to the enjoyment of hanging out with my child... and as I get older I see how much it means to my own father when he and I manage to get together and do something.

Does that mean I can get a loan from you now?
I'll loan you my shoe. You can put it where the sun don't shine.

I heard a new line from Dad yesterday - "I'm so broke I couldn't buy feed oats for a nightmare". Apparently it's an old cowboy saying but I thought it was funny regardless.

He said that after his g/f crashed his newly bought Porsche race car - she hit an Indy-style car from the rear, drove up over him, actually pushed his helmet rest forward (!!), launched nearly 10 feet in the air in total while spinning around, then came down and hit a concrete wall.

Nice!
