cake and lou reed just struck me to be quite similar...what do you guys think? It hit me while listening to "Vicious" by lou reed.

i love cake. i must admit that i don't know lou reed's music all that well. from what i have heard, although it's not a lot, i don't see the comparison.

I think they sound pretty similar, too, especially on songs like "short skirt, long jacket".
