Its already clear that she has your camera. You should concentrate on getting it back or move on like you said. However if you do manage to bump into her again, she'll find something to steal from you again.

Juicy (not the pic; well yeah, that's juicy too, but I meant the situation)

I want to know what comes of this.

Lookin' good C Unit

Eugene, OR, huh? I drove through there on a cross country trip and all I can remember is getting garlic fries from some hardcore Republicans, then getting my flat tire fixed behind the fry place, oh yeah, and we stole some internet from a coffee shop in town. Am I thinking of the right place? If so, for a full service town.

looks like you are gunna have to go ninja on her. and it might have to be more than a solo effort on your part.

hmmm. getting her to email you or an unsuspected friend the original sized images direct from the camera is the ticket, that or jacking it back Mission Impossible style as she will guard it around your presence like a hawk.

how often do you see her. the only other option is to bring a flash card with you next time you see her somewhere. then you swap flashcards really quick so u can break down the files. of course if i know this type of crook, and if she is a bitch, she will be very cautious of her camera when you are around. you might need a male to swoop in there and do some dirty work for you.

i hardly ever see her... especially now that i haven't talked to her because i suspected she stole my camera. i only knew her through a mutual friend. she was my best friend's roomie... and we hung out whenever i was with my best friend, which was pretty often, but that friend moved to seattle and i wasn't close enough to her to just hang out with her if our mutual friend wasn't around. but we do have a few mutual friends... maybe i'll run into her at a party or something. but it seems kind of hopeless i already got a replacement camera too. my older sister bought me one for my birthday cause she felt bad for me, haha...

Tell her to choke on that $300 camera.

Just start a donation thread...

Im sure everyone will donate $1 towards your camera for pics

Seriously, people get theirs. Get another camera, and forget about it. I had a friend screw me out of $5K....so be it.

$5K...isn't that the border for grand theft? I'd be a little pissed about that.

Ehhh...whatever, Im a believer that people get theirs. Him and his deadbeat girlfriend are always broke, living paycheck to paycheck, eating mac and cheese every night, while I drive an s2000 eating steak dinners 5 times a week. Let them choke on it. I was pissed for a hot minute, until I realized being pissed wont get my money back. He is constantly running from creditors, his father was a degenerate gambler, his life will never get better. Chalk it up for a lesson learned. Funny thing is, I never lend my friends money for luxuries, but I do for necessities. I let him borrow 5K for his mother's funeral. Instead of paying me back (I lent him the money last April, and was promised to get it back by June), he got a $2000 pure bred English bulldog, a 50" panasonic plasma for his living room, and a 42" plasma for his bedroom. All the while supporting his jobless, pennyless girlfriend.

My brother STILL has a friend like that. He'd lend him $5.00 here and there to get some gas to go look for a job, let him eat some food at his house. The last straw was when the guy stole some checks to order pizza while already being offered ALL the food he wanted in the house.

That dude got kicked out of the house at 1:30 a.m. Funny thing is, they're friends again.
