btw i shortened my script by two characters:

perl -pe '$_=(($_-32)*5/9).$/'

not that i would know how to count, I had some sissy-boy do it for me

Actually.....real modern American men don't code it, or build it anymore, they just pay some programmer out of lesser economy to code/build it at 1/3 the cost and mark it up 133%......real men get profit margins and they are called project managers,
