Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Can OT chime in on this situation?

Ok, just talked to the credit card company, they are reviewing the case.

Not_Sure, according to his brother it was already boxed and ready to ship, so I don't know that it would even take 15 minutes. The brother told me the seller is out of state, and the brother "confirmed" that in his latest PM. In his PM dated 5-1-09, he states he will be back "next Friday."

Oh well, we'll see how this plays out.

if you stop the transaction and have the credit card company take the money back, there's one less hassle the seller has to deal with in this troubling time in his life.
you're doing him a favor.

Only the forum mods can lock or move threads in their forums. I only have two forums for which I can do that, FS and Cars for Sale

I didn't lock it because he was asking a advice and not pointing out a specific seller. I think he got his answer now.

Do your chargeback. If he's having issues with his family, what does that have anything to do with you?

Yea I did the chargeback, originally I had just filed a dispute through paypal and that's when he started with the name calling and such.

Good luck with this. I can understand family issues, but the point at which I'm called a punk and told to f*** off is the point at which the seller's family issues mean jack shit to me and I only want the item I bought or the money I gave the seller to buy it.

Most of the time that's just an excuse the seller uses to try and get away with taking your money anyway.
