Good idea. Or else use a Linux box to do the downloads. Set up a special non-priv'd user & use that account to run the P2P app. Leave your computer uncontaminated.

 

actually with kazaa lite it has an IP blocker feature so you odnt have to worry about it

 

An 'IP Blocker' will not prevent you from downloading and executing an executable file that has a trojan in it will it? Firewall & anti-virus software would though. Provided you update it once a week or so.

Yeah, but to be fair, the majority of that new virus / worm is spreading through email. I've just gotten off of 7 hours straight of calls due to this new virus. We had to shut down our outbound email gateway for a while. Hang on kids, 'cause it's going to be a fun ride tomorrow.
