Default Can you block a cell phone # through ATT wireless?

So pretty much I have this x girlfriend who won't stop texting or calling me.

Its not alot, but it seems like she always calls while im either asleep or out with another girl im now dating.

Anyway, one minute she loves me and wants me back, 5 minutes later im a jerk and she wants nothing to do with me. Last night she called me to tell me she slept with some kid at 6am and that was the last straw. I really don't need to hear her prolems anymore.

Can I call ATT wireless and block her number from my account?
Has anyone ever blocked a cell phone number before?

Im just afraid that when I go to ATT to do this they will say I cant and try to sign me for a new number.

Oh and please don't tell me to not pick the phone up when she calls. I tried that once, I had about 20 missed calls untill she started leaving me a bunch of text messages and then IM's on AIM. I need her blocked.

file a restraining order.

even if your number is blocked she'll find another way to contact you.

Put her on silent and ask a friend that she doesn't know preferrably female and ask her to record your greeting saying it's "jasmine" or something. She'll stop contacting you soon.... Hopefully

Verizon won't block numbers for you.. so you tried not picking up the phone once.. how about you try never picking up the phone, and eventually she will get the idea.

Certain phones actually allow you to select numbers that will send the caller straight to voicemail. I dont think it will block txt messages though.

She need some serious help. You can give her number to 2 type of people. A psychiatrist or a pimp.

I know on some phones, there is a feature or option to block that specific number. Change your voicemail greeting for a couple days and then she should be stupid enough to believe that you changed your number
