it's not just canadians, that accent can be found throughout the upper peninsula of michigan, across northern wisconsin and into northern minnsesota. in the us there may be a bit more 'ya shure' and 'you betcha' but the 'aboot' and 'haloo' remain the same. i love the dialect!
