Default can't decide which...

i am in between 2 gaming steering wheel.

one is...

http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Logitech...ef=pd_rhf_p_t_2

the other one is...

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-963416-0403...ef=pd_rhf_p_t_4

i know the price diff. is huge but aside from that, which one would be in other words.. worth it.

the reason i decided to get the steering wheel is because, i feel that i got as good
as im going to get in the regular controller.
plus im getting the evolution seat, so yeah...

if you have experience with either plz share, and or share your set up.

I have the G25. It's awesome.

6MT, sequential on the stick, or sequential using paddles. a bunch of programmable buttons. leather wrapped. three pedals including clutch.

I couldn't tell you if it's worth $150 more, but it's definitely pretty badass paired with my 90" projection

thats what i got.

its about 122 in. projector in 1080i. along with a onkoy 7.1 surround sound.

in all, the seat + gearshift adaptor + seat slider (for my bigger friends)=about 420 ish

g25=about 250 ish

total about 700 with shipping + taxes + whatever charger they decide to rape me with.

do you really need a clutch for a video game wheel?

I have a Driving Force Pro right now and hope to get the G25 soon. Waiting for the Ebay Livesearch Cashback to return to 20-25%.

The G25 is a much better wheel than the DFP. It's also much QUIETER, which alone makes it worth the extra money. The pedals are also much higher quality and way more realistic than the butter soft DFP pedals (and yeah, you get a third pedal).

My only complaint is the shifter unit. It's very flimsy, and I found myself using the paddles more. Many serious sim players swap this unit out for something more hardcore.

Of course if you want the ultimate setup...

That's my only complaint as well. I find myself using the paddles when I want to be competitive.
