Car got stolen, return damaged, thieves caught, ho
You got moral satisfaction, but financially, you're

When I was in college, my car was involved in a theft. The stupid jerkoffs (who were both 18) tried to steal my wheels. . . which were just stock Acura Integra GS-R wheels. Anyway, they were caught and had to pay me to replace all of the lug nuts and center cap things they tossed out the window while being chased by the cops.
Try getting the judge to order them to pay restitution. Not sure where a 15 year old will get that kind of cash, but its worth a shot.

This depends on state laws. In some states I belive NJ is one of the offenders, you can never sure the parents for what the child does. Therfore you have to sue the child and keep the judgment up to ever see the money years later.
