^ You mentioned something like "Great, another Rolex knock off" i think.

I have a $8,000 rolex at home with annivarsary dial and diamond hour markers.

Sure this invicta is a knockoff in its own way. but the rolex retails for $6000-8000. This watch is $170. For what its worth its not a bad watch at all. Most watches are knock offs of each other.

Invicta makes great affordable watched for enthusiasts, bringing sophisticated movements and styles to lesser wealthy.

Their new minute repeater was on the cover if IW watch magazine. This is a great Value brand.

Not everyone can afford or wants to pay $thousands for a rolex. You and I are entitled to our opinion

^
Minute Repeater
Perpetual calendar
Non automatic - If it were automatic you would have to pay north of $200,000 for the same watch.

I edited out my comment because if you like it, what do I care. If it didn't have the writing stamped on the side of the case, it wouldn't be a bad purchase. I just don't much like the Rolex look, and so I am even less fond of Rolex knock-offs.

I have a similarly priced Hamilton Khaki Action auto, which looks nothing like a Rolex. I just fail to see what people like in a knock-off of a kind of tacky watch in the first place. My Hamilton is an original design. I don't think Invicta has produced an original design yet.

As I stated - if you like it, good for you. I didn't think I needed to share my negative comments, which is why I removed them - fat lot of good that did. But since you decided to bring it up, I guess I ought to oblige and share my opinions. You have a tacky $8000 mass-produced ugly piece of crap at home. You just ordered quite literally the same thing for $200. The fact that Invicta increased the tacky quotient by casting the brand and "limited edition" on the side of the watch increases the attractiveness to those who have no taste, I am sure. But that is just my humble opinion. If you posted a link to a watch that wasn't marketed by copycats catering to KMart ballers, I would have given kudos instead of raspberries. I hope you enjoy the watch despite my comments. I can certainly see the attractiveness of Invictas to people who actually like Rolex styles but balk at the stupid prices.

Sapphire can also be scratched by other sapphire. While we're at it, silicon carbide can scratch it, and moissanite's 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale tops sapphire's 9, so that can scratch it as well.

Sapphire watch crystals are the hardest to scratch, but the easiest to break. Be careful with them!

god rolex makes an ugly band. As far as nice mens watches go. I think Breitlings are 10x better looking.

The oyster band is much nicer. (Sportier) I have two in oyster.

I just picked up this watch.

www.bulgari.com/carbongold/index.html

This is really a limited watch, they only sell it to "select" customers supposedly. It's not on display and is not advertised. The case is made of carbon fiber but doesn't have the "weave"
