What if your not good at school?
1. Don't chase women.
2. Don't drink.
3. Don't go out to eat.
4. Don't shop anywhere fancy.
5. Don't buy expensive electronics.
One of my best friends is a bus boy. No girls, no vices, no life. He owns 3 homes.

jkPlenty you can do without education, but to be REALLY successful in life and not at school, you better have some great ideas, money, and the ability to see projects though.
The non-school route is definitely hard as I'm going it right now, but school isn't for me and I recognized that early enough to quickly focus on what I'm good at, what I want and how I would go about achieving it without an education.
I'm actually really lucky because I work in a very specialized field where you don't need a degree to move up [although it definitely helps]. I've just joined the ranks of management, but it took a long time and a lot of hard work to prove to upper management that I could do the job as well as "the guy with a degree from prestigious school", especially considering I'm only 21 as well.
So be prepared to sit in the entry level positions for a lot longer than others if you don't have an education. And don't kid yourself. A person without a degree [or tons of experience] is probably never going to land in the executives lounge, but you can still create a very good life for yourself.

I was just where you were not long ago.
If your a good guy(no criminal activity), then you could do contract security. It usually pays well, has flexible hours, and some Clients allow you to do HW while on duty. I did that for 2 years, making $17.50 an hour as Site Supervisor, and saved saved saved.
Before that, I went overseas as a contractor for 3 months, made my 60k, and came back and put 30k down on 2 houses.
Now I'm in law enforcment, have 2 houses(working on a 3rd), and make 75k a year(Job+investments), and am 23. Plus-- NO degree.
So, go to school full-time, work as you can, and just save save save. Do as PrimoGen suggested and open a Roth IRA or donate to your employers 401k plan...you'll thank yourself later. You have to skimp in life while your young, so that when your older you have more "toy" money for yourself. Its hard, I have a Evo and S2K, lived on my own, and racked up some CC debt=BAD IDEA. Live as cheaply as possible, and when your older you can offord what you really want.
