I have this fear when ever I see it, What if it decides to use my convertible top as as scratch post oneday. got to try the mothball idea... or keep the Diff fluid there.

A BB gun is not lethal, won't even break the skin, but that is the sort of responce I would expect from left coast touchy feely country. Actually, though, if I caught a cat pissin' in my garage I would use something lethal, and feel fine about it.

I'm more a fan of owners taking responsibility for keeping their pets on their own property, but when that fails (more likely than not these days) a good trap and the humane society do the trick. (Or a .22 rifle w/ silencer for the less humane.)

Cats generally have to be attracted to something to come around...often food scraps in your garbage or something like that. If you can remove the source of the attraction now while the cats are repelled, chances are they may not come back for a good while.
