Cheapest ways to eat during the work week?
You gotta learn to master grocery shopping.
I shop at three different stores to get the best deals, cut coupons,by alot of one thing when its super cheap and just freeze it,buy store brands 95% of the time they taste the same as expensive brands and sometimes better.
I do get a couple hook ups however as my dad knows a guy who maintains a small amount of cattle, and usually sells my dad 75-100lbs of different cuts of beef for $2.19 per lb
Also my sister gets cheese from WIC ,more than she and her kids can eat so I get some off of her.

I make my own lunch!!
Bread, Cheese, veggies and deli meat! I have mustard & pickles in my office (makes my sandwhich soggy by lunch).
Coffee and water are free!
I also have my old mini fridge from college (used exclusively for beer and jello shots for most of its life) sitting in my office. I stock it with soda, capri suns, juice and energy drinks that several of my co-workers split the cost between us and buy in bulk from Sams Club or Costco.
Leftovers from dinner in a tuberware make great lunches.
Sometime we have catered lunches after client meetings or presentations.
I'll eat out for lunch maybe once a week with my co-workers - Subway, CiCi's or some local eateries. If we are feeling special and need to celebrate after hard week we might go to the Radisson next door and grab Beef and Chicken Fajita Buffet!

Bag of 6 hoagie rolls $3
Pound or so of turkey $7
Package of Provalone slices $3
Bag of sugar snap peas $4
$17 for the week for my lunch.
Micowave a turkey sandwich to melt the cheese, and snack on pea pods. Nothing really fulfilling about it but I am trying to see if I can be in pro athlete shape (not likely but I will give it a shot) on my forthcoming 40th birthday and this is to cut out the chubble.
When I get home it is egg white and veggie omletes. I don't eat breakfast.
I could really go for a pizza right about now.

I try to make 5-10lbs of something on Sunday. Make a huge pot of brown rice with a couple of pounds of beef or chicken and vegetables thrown in. It's healthy with a good amount of protein, complex carbs, and vitamins.
I'll also take the sandwich route as said above. TV dinners and pizzas aren't too great from a nutrition standpoint, but they are easy to bring.
I don't mind making lunches, but I just hate eating in the office.
