Seems to me that approval of our policies and respect and friendship with most of the world's developed countries would be a good thing.

I can tell you, it's Bill Clinton's. He's the one that signed the bill into place that gave us the problem now. The year was 1999.

he signed a bill which was voted for by a majority republican congress IIRC... placing blame for the housing mess on any one person, or even one of the 2 parties, is silly and ignores the big picture.
