The only thing chiros can truly adjust is the thickness of your wallet.

Actually many are very inexpensive and for some things are effective.

My chiropracter is a flat $20 a visit and like I said is good for things like the mismatch of crappy car seats and long drives.

i had lower back pain as a result of a hockey injury, and my teammate happened to be a chiropractor. it took 4 visits to get me feeling good, and haven't had to go back. i dont remember the technical description of what was wrong, but it had to do with the 2 bones that protrude just above the butt. for my experience

Physical therapy helped me out a lot more with my upper back problems than chiropractors ever did. They were a temporary fix whereas building up the muscles in my upper back that PT helped me with is a long term solution.

Chiropractor = B.S. See a Spine Specialist and some PT if needed.

I didn't have an injury, but my problem is at the same location.

I had my first visit with the D.C. this morning. I feel loosened up, but can't say anything yet. The doc cracked my back, neck, and ankles, and he stretched out my lower back muscles. They also did some electro pulse therapy. They said the pain might worsen before it gets better.

I was really hoping the doc would fix me up for Vegas this weekend. I guess, I won't be shakin my booty much then.

I had the same problem...the reason? Riding my YZF600 too much. Once I stopped riding my bike on long excursions, the lower back pain remedied itself.
