chiropractors
I've never been to one but my partner works in workers comp and she's told me that chiros usually cause more harm than good.

I would consider seeing a doctor to determine how serious the injury is, and ask for his recomendations as to the chiropractor or massuse. A doctors recommendation can help in providing info for both a massuse and a chiropractor, exp like determining if the spine needs tp be realigned or if a particular musle is pulled and such. I used to be in massage therapy which actually helps relieve some everyday stress problems but is not what I would consider a long term cure. You also have to know that there are some treatment providers that are better than others try and get references if possible. My brother in-law saw a chiropractor a few years ago that caused more damge to his back than helped and he had to get surgery as well. on a side note, how great do your knuckles feel when you crack them? does it feel like it helps with anything??
Hard topic. Like anything if used correctly it can be good. I have a friend who is a D.O. but practices allopathic medicine. When I had back problems I let him work on me and it worked like a charm. I went from not being able to walk straight to being totally fine. My take is that if it's an acute thing and is musculoskeletal pain then no problem going to a chiro, but if you are having numbness and tingling or neurological issues you should go to an allopath first and have a radiological workup.
