Is The Christmas Bonus Extinct..?

I've only received one Christmas bonus and that was because Bill Gates bought a copyright form us.
That said, my company gives out quarterly incentive bonuses, so for the past 4 years I've received a bonus a week before Christmas.
For the first two years, we got T-Day turkeys.
Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukah! Great Kwanza! or just Happy Holidays!

But my bonus was more like a fart in a hurricane; we are not talking about a big impact here.

Ours is not a Christmas bonus per se, but based on if our business makes it's targeted numbers. It's a flat amount and normally comes in December. Unfortunatley with the economy so tight we need to see how our investments do after the end of the month to see if we'll make it. Keeping fingers crossed.

I got my bonus today, about a weeks pay, but I'm not going ot complain one bit, with the slowdowns, and a few of our very large customers going under, the talk of the office was no bonus. So Hey, it was a nice surprise!
