Default cingular

Ive got a Nokia 3395 nice phone, not many extra features but i would never use things like camera etc. anyway. I use Cingular, i get good signal where i live but watch out its pretty damn bad some places and as for customer service they really suck.Try getting a new phone midcontract and they slap you with a $200 fee!! Cingular is the only carrier that does this. I prefer AT&T but im screwed with cingular until july .

You should know that Cingular and AT&T use the same wireless network, so you won't be getting any better reception. It's just whoever has the better deals. Verizon (old Bell Atlantic) is rated as having the best reception signals.

From my experience, cingular was okay with using the 3395. I now have a sony ericsson t68i, and it sucks a$$ hardcore. I often have no more than 3 out of 5 bars of reception, and several times when I use it I get cut off. Customer service sucks too, as they billed me twice for 3 months without me knowing!

i believe every carrier will charge you if you decide to switch phones mid contract. one of the points to having a contact is stating that you will not switch phones, or tha tyou will keep your current phone. Unless you paid fill price for the phone, you can't get another one at a discounted rate.
