The Z-640's are a good choice if you just want a simple set up for one room. They pound for the dollar, you can get them for around 60 bucks at newegg.com but those you show us are MAJOR awesome! Klipsche is a good brand as well, but I'm loyal to Logitech for mice, keyboards, etc.

I like the JBL Creature II. While only two channel stereo w/sub, it sounds great and looks pretty cool. I recently went from a 4-channel down to a two channel, and glad I did. More space on the desk and IMO better sound.
