Sure was!
Tiger Woods is like Michael Jordan in basketball. They change the sport. They make basketball and golf much more exciting and entertaining to watch. BTW, I did predict Tiger would win the Master for the 2nd time.

I didn't get to see much of the competition but I kept tabs on the leaderboard, supporting the Tiger all the way! I could never get tired of watching him play, just as I could never get tired of seeing MJ with the ball his hands. I think rather than bringing predictability to the sport, he makes it is more exciting. (Downside might be that more people are interested in golf now and it's harder to get a tee time!) I really think he has revolutionized the game. He is clearly the most fit athlete to ever play the game.
The fact that one person could be so dominant in a sport like golf (with all its unpredictability) is amazing in itself. When the ball is hit over 300 yards, a slightly misdirected shot can be in big trouble. One of the cool things for me is when Tiger hits a really BAD drive or approach, just to see how he gets out of the trees or sand!
Anyone else ever eyed the green through a 6 foot gap between trees and ask, "What would Tiger do?"
For me, it's the best way to get nailed by a rebounding Titleist!
