meh, they were probably aiming at the lights..and missed horribly.

There was a story long ago about a old(&black) grandma in her.. 80s that apparently ran a cocaine operation. Cops(or swat..memory is weak) raided the home.

This is what happened: cops broke down door>4 cops got shot>cops shot grandma, killing her> reverend sharpton steps out to say it was a racist act.

i can condone that since animal control doesn't rehabilitate most wild animals. the dogs, on the other hand, are sad...

WTF was that? Why are they running in guns ablazing?
I'm pretty apalled by this...

I'm speculating, but I could see them not finding anything, and having no reason to have acted so forcefully...and potentially "finding" a reason inside.

Also, why is the guy under arrest with only a search warrant? What's he being arrested for? I don't hear any mention of why he's being arrested...maybe I just didn't hear it.

That is just amazing, I would go to everyone of those officers homes and shoot all of their pets...this police bullshit with their "we have the right to do anything we want" needs to stop in this country!!

cops or not...i dont think I would be able to control myself if they shot my dog.

there was video of a family that pulled over on the highway and they had a small little jack russel or something...dad was cuffed and on his knees behind his car (wife and kids were still inside) dog got out of car and ran around with tail wagging and cops open up on him right in front of everyone.

I would have been dead right next to my dog. I would have lost all control. Call me retarded

pitbull/german sheaprd/rottie running and barking at cops....there might be some kind of safety issue there but....a corgy or jack russel or other small/toy dog.... no reasonable safety issue IMHO

the video is enraging but we have to remember that these swat guys have a job to do and a personal responsibility to saty safe in the process. We dont know what happened and what they saw or percieved.

I hate that it happened but.....they were obviously there for some serious reason. Lesson: Dont do serious stuff if you dont want SWAT breaking down your door, possibly killing your pets in the process.

yeah... this guy had trace amounts of weed, enough for a misdemeanor possession charge. that hardly qualifies as "serious stuff" in my mind.
