Default Cost of your wristwatch compared to daily wage

If you don't fit into any of these categories, please post why.

This is kind of a silly thread, but might shed some perspective on how some people consider a $2k watch excessive, but to the purchaser it might be quite a reasonable fraction of their income when broken down.

I have a Fossil watch which I bought on ebay for $40 a couple of years ago. I'm 20 btw, but I don't feel comfortable sharing how much I make.

No worries!

Anyone who looks down on others for not spending money on bling is silly anyway.

In mint condition, it's probably worth 5 times that.

My everyday watch has a retail tag of $5900ish (Breitling Navitimer Heritage). My replaced daily driver watch was $3800 (Rolex...still have it) and the two before that were $3000 a piece. (Omegas) Now, my "weekend" watches are another story.
